Can you give me a 1-10 scale of recoil on each one?  

Comparing 28ga, #4 shot,  2 3/4  to .410, 000 shot 2 1/2"?

I'm wanting to convert a rossi 28 circuit judge into a raging judge 28.  Yes, I know the law.

28 gauge with target loads has very little recoil but 28 gauge high brass hunting loads are not much less felt recoil than 20 gauge.

28 gauge has some recoil, very little, enough to you know you shot it.  The 410 is like no recoil, did it go off? It's like reverse recoil.  How do i know, i have shot all 5 gauges in skeet for 20 years.

depends on the weight of the firearm, my light weight .410 with 3'' loads feels the same as my medium weight 20 with target loads.
