Found a 1952 870 Wingmaster Receiver (thats what Remington said at least),
its in good overall condition given the age of it and has only but a tiny ding in the contour of the top side. Any idea of the value? Thanks!

A local shop would take the ugly 870s and part them out. A complete receiver (no barrel or stocks) is $125 ish.
It looks like yours is missing everything except the trigger. I'd say about $75 |

I paid $170 via armslist for a complete (yet ugly) 28" wingmaster in 2016.

I gave $87 for a complete but ugly 870 at GT in Roseville a couple of years ago. It needed a new ejector and slide lock spring but I was happy with the price.

I bought a complete 870 wingmaster for $200 in very good condition. $75 seems fair to me. Slap a 870P parts kit from Apex gun parts in it.

I have everything except the stock and barrel, I had it stripped down for the pics...
