Greener GP.

All I've added so far is the sling and the hard case.

I tore it down for a total cleaning when I first got it, and the internals are all in fantastic shape.

I'm trying to decide if I want to get it threaded for chokes...

Packed for compact travel:

In Alaska last fall:

It's become one of my favorite firearms, I'll post up more photos eventually.

I recently got the gun pictured above, and just fired it for the first time a few minutes ago. It was just some typical cheap birdshot loads, but held a surprisingly decent pattern. Wasn't at all unpleasant to shoot, either.
It is a Foremost, made for JC Penney by Savage. 12 gauge. Has a bit of surface rust and is a bit over 27 inches overall, with a 22 inch barrel. I'll probably lop another inch off the barrel, bringing it closer to (but still over) 26 inches. I guess I'll spray paint it, too.
Yeah, I know. Don't wanna hear it.

I remember seeing a H & R or NEF 10 ga in this thread that someone cut down to 18' or 20' but cant find it now after looking through this whole thread. Could someone point me in the right direction ? thanks in advance for the help.
