Looking at the elzetta light mount for my 870 tactical shotgun. Looking to use a surefire g2 or 6p with it. Any one have this mount and a review.????? Other options I should look at.....Thanks, Scott

IMO, CDM Gear mounts are the best http://www.cdmgear.com/product.html The Mod-C is the one you want.

I would look for an mount that attaches to the forearm. I like being able to activate (or deactivate) the light at any point in the cycle and as to running a pig-tail back to the forearm from the fixed barrel mount they always seemed to get in the way. The barrel type mounts are GTG on auto loaders but I find them lacking on pumps. YMMV.

Surefire/Wilson make railed forearm(or used to) Magpul now has their MOE forearm out that looks good. Some guys are just bolting a section of rail on to their forearm and then mounting their light in a 1" rifle scope ring....
