THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I can't find any other info and don't know anything more than you see in this ad... but I already know that I must have one. ![]() Anyone know anything about this? I searched here and elsewhere and didn't see anything but this ad... Kel Tec has really been coming out with some neat designs lately.
They're never 'conventional' but they always seem to be impressive and useful. With an awesome warranty to back them up. |

I'm betting it is a bottom eject if you notice there is no type of carrier just open which is similar to the Browning/ Ithaca and on the pic there is not an ejection port cover on the stock just a cheek weld. Id figure if it was to eject to the side it would look something like the Beretta CX4 Storms and other bullpups with switchable ejection ports. Hell just look at the pic its showing the right side of the gun and I see no reason why a left hander cant shoot it as is, meaning no ejection port on the right. It also shows the end of the barrel which rules out feeding the empties out the front like the Kel-Tec RFB, so that leave top or bottom eject and top eject would kill it for rightys and leftys. I'm LH as well and am very interested in this but would really like to see an auto, FTW! ![]() |

Looks badass, except the sights, that rear sight looks too far forward for me.

If Kel Tec treats this like any of there other weapons, there will be some great photos to get people all crazy, then it will take forever to ship them, and then there will be only enough supply to meet the demand of 20% of the buyers. That will drive up the cost, and make people sit on backorders for 6-12 months.
I love Kel tec products, but they sure put things out prematurely before they are ready to ramp up production. We will be lucky to see this in stores 6-12 months from now if it is anything like the PMR or their .308 that came out. |

They don't have the capacity to produce thousands of parts with reliable QC, & large-scale outsourcing would probably just create more problems. Keeping things under 1 roof seems to be a better strategy in that regard. I wish they'd drop the trademark checkerboard 'stipling' & integrated grip. How has the quality been on the RFB? ETA: Doesn't look like 18" of bbl extending from the action. |
