I am looking for a nice short stock for my girlfriend's 20 gauge 870. I saw this stock Houge Overmold at Midway. It's listed for a 12 gauge but I didn't know if the dimensions are the same on a 20.

Link to stock in question

I looked on the Hogue website but didn't find the answer.

A second question is how are the recoil pads on the Hogue stocks?

Thank you for your time

What year is the 20?

There are "light" twenties, and 20g's built on full size receivers.

I called Remington and checked the date of manufacture. The shotgun was made in 1995. The gentleman helping me told me that I would need to buy a 20 gauge specific stock for the gun.
