On top is an 870 express magnum with 26" barrel that I had just bought. It's now furnished in a lovely matching hogue ghillie green sofa and loveseat. It also came with a rifled slug barrel and only cost me 255 used with a sale price my LGS had.

Underneath is an old westernfield 28" that has the smoothest action I have ever felt. It appears to have been manufactured by Mossberg as it is very similar to a 500.

On the bottom is an 870 tactical 6+1 which I thought was a smart buy but turned out to be annoying once I realized it won't accept other 870 barrels. I plan to machine a shim out of aluminum which, with a wave washer, I hope will allow me to use my other two barrels.

ETA: Only second post, working on picture link.---Sorry for the cell phone pic

ETA:  That's pretty slick.  Like the aimpoint.  You might look into a Pachmayr PG, that makes PGs a lot more comfortable to shoot.

haha i wish it was an aim point. this is a true glow i bought a few years ago when redots became supper popular i got it for like 30 bucks its nothing special but it works really well and is nigh vision comatiable on its lowest 3 settings,   if i had an aim point it wouldn't be on my shot gut, i may look into that ater, byt for now itwas a budget build for home defense/ trucks gun, not something im going to shoot tones, i maybe at the high end have a totle of $400 in this and its a low round cound just becuase of trading and so on
and considering a new rem 870 is almost 500 bucks i did pretty well,
and im thinking nabout porting the barrel on an end mill later on but onlyrelitivly small poerts,

When asked by the DA to explain to the Grand Jury why you repeatedly stabbed the burglar, you should probably not answer,"When else am I going to get to use this bayonet?"

Agreed. There is zero reason to use that grip. The stock also makes absolutely no sense at all. Here, let me throw a sniper rifle style stock, and pistol grip on a shotgun with a magazine that sticks out over a foot long, on a pump action Mossberg. This screams "I have no clue what I am doing here". I forgot to add, he puts fucking Magpul sights on it to boot. O'ly shit man.

Well, I agree with your quote, but it would seem it's applied to the incorrect party.  Defcon, that's one of the most beautiful pumps I've seen.  Had heard of someone doing Mossberg conversions.  Saiga mags?  What loads are you running?  How is the cheekpiece working for you?

Being in California, we're stuck with bullet buttons.  So this is huge to have a pump shotgun with a 10 round Saiga mag with no bullet button.

Saiga mag is modified to fit the pump using a kit. New follower, feed lip and feed ramp

I have a Saiga 12 with a bullet button w/ 10 round mags

i havent shot it yet.  I'm still redesigning the rails, magpul handguard and the receiver.

The XLR stock has adjustable LOP and cheek.
Cheek piece is comfortable.

I sold my Benelli M4 a few months ago to buy a fews cans. I decided to replace it recently and stumbled across three 870Ps at great prices. Two brand new for 400, both from outstanding arfcom members that were local, and the third was one with ghost rings and some extras for 525.00 shipped. I had to take them on principle, especially since my wife tells me how she can't pass up good deals. Crappy pic but I finished my last build today when a barrel came back from Vang Comp. Sorry for the poor pic.

Hickok45 shows that a basic shotgun is very effective at 100yards. That gong is at 80yards. Also, trigger time/practice is a must.

Oh yea, picture thread. Since its winter time in MI.
