I'll be installing the Taran bolt release shortly.  I just have to drill and tap the factory part.  I plan on picking up the AVA Tactical light mount and light.  Only thing up in the air is the sling.  I'm open to suggestions for this.

It is clunky looking.  I'm not a fan of Eotechs but got this one a couple of years ago cheap.  It normally bounces around on new toys until I figure out what to get.  I have an Aimpoint T1 enroute for the M4.

Oh man, that benelli with that stock and the RMR! That's a good looking shotgun.
Any plans to get full use of your magazine tube?

Went a different route for the optic.  I put the Micro I ordered on one of my ARs.  Took the Vortex Viper from the AR and put on the M4.  Also got the Taran bolt release installed.  Also installed a AVA mount with Surefire Fury.  The AVA mount is extremely well designed and manufactured.  Really digging this setup.

Changed the wood stock for a shortened LOP hogues stock and forearm a few days back. Also installed an LPA sight set today. Haven't shot it yet. I'm waiting on the sling stud magazine cap and the two point leather sling.

I bought this thing about a year ago and quickly discovered one of the hammers wasn't functioning correctly. Somebody tried to make their own sear spring -- unsuccessfully. I passed it along to a friend of a friend who builds muzzleloaders. He agreed to make a new spring and do a few minor touch-ups. I basically forgot about the gun. I got an e-mail a couple of weeks ago that the gun was ready and I met up with the fixer this weekend to retrieve it.

It's an old C.G. Bonehill 12 gauge. Bonehill was a Birmingham, England, maker of affordable guns marketed to the working class. This one is marked Robinson & Co. Singapore. It was probably made sometime around 1900-1920. It's pretty rough cosmetically but still locks up tight. I shot a round of skeet with it when I picked it up and hit 20 of 25. I blame a couple of the misses simply on the gun being so much lighter than my target guns. I was consciously aware of jerking the gun off target on a couple of the misses.

Anyway, I think it's a cool old gun . . .

Here are couple of my Mossy's.  A standard Mossberg 500 with 20" barrel mag tube upgrade/ magpul forend, Esstac card.   The other one is my diy shockwave.  I bought the Shockwave grip over a year ago and put it on a Coast to Coast 660(Mossberg) I got at a Gunshow for $130.  I shortened the barrel to 19" and added an Esstac card.  Pawn shop rescue Remington 1100

Here is the new to me 870 Wingmaster I added to my collection. According to the serial number it was manufactured in the late 60's.  Excellent condition and came with a 28" modified barrel.  I found a great 20" slug barrel with rifle sights with matching finish.

A couple of 870s. I had a thread that got archived a while ago about the 870P (synthetic stock) possibly having some extraction issues when I bought it. I polished up the chamber and locking block and smoothed the locking block recess in the barrel extension and it ran like a raped ape on all types of ammo, including some REALLY old paper target loads that were even sticky in the Wingmaster.

Have wanted an SP1 for skeet/clays for 25 years.  Finally pulled the trigger.

Back then I wanted a 26" field, but I ended up with a 30" Sporting model instead.  Times change.
