Please send to me for testing of above stated theories. For the amount of weight cut off it shouldn't matter. I would never try to shoot a full size mauser with one hand, but my 9" SBR one i can shoot all day one handed and it has very little recoil. Will be posting some pics of my Remington Model 11 when it gets finished. |

This is the main reason that I don't bother with anything that isn't mag fed. Reliability would be next. We have never taken in a mag fed shotgun for repair, not that they never break, but there is almost always a tube fed gun in the safe for me to work on. I have no direct experience with the KSG, but the tube fed mags are enough to keep me from wanting one. It does look awesome though. If they could produce a mag fed auto bullpup that would fit inside of that same envelope or smaller, I'd probably be all over one. evl.... |

just use minishells and you can fit like 20 in there, in the regular ksg you can fit 25 minishells, or 15 regular 2/34 shells

What 1913 rail in front of the Trak-Lock rear? EGW? Is the channel cut wide enough to see the front sight easily?

I heard the recoil pulse is brutal on this style of shotgun. Any truth to that? I have the same thing in a Rem 11. Recoil feels like it is less then the full size barrel. The projectile is staying in the barrel for a shorter period of time and more of the powder is burning outside of the barrel. Just like how i can shoot my 9" 8mm Mauser all day long one handed. Less recoil but more BOOM |

Less recoil but more BOOM I agree with my fellow Tokarev afflicted. It is pleasant to shoot, even with the very short LOP. It will knock my spectacles off if I don't keep squared up, but that is it. I shot about 200 shells through mine one day in an ASAA shotgun class. I would take my Savage over any pump gun. Another factor is the reciprocating mass is reduced with the shorter barrel, produces much the same effect as a skeletoninzed slide on race gun. Less mass bottoming out going forwards or backwards. I was thinking about fluting the bolt on mine and getting it TiN coated like a Salient Arms everything-they-make. |
