Thanks for the info. Is that a special Police model or did you just jazz up an Express or a Wingmaster?

Big Bear, I don't want to be unoriginal or nothing but I like and want that set-up! Guess I better start being on the look out for used Express Magnum.

Lets see if this works...

There should be, from top to bottom, a Benelli Nova, a Mossberg 590, and a Mossberg 500.

WhooHoo! It only took three tries, but I got it.

I don't have one yet, but this will be my 1st gun purchase once I get a job.

The original "tactical shotgun". With a bayonet of course.

(1st pic borrowed from a GunBroker seller, 2nd & 3rd pic are from SOG)

A REAL one or a Norinco import?

I have a good condition authentic trench gun. It's one sweet gun, and sits next to my Mossberg 590.

A Norinco copy.

Unless I get an AWESOME job or win the lottery. But I'd be torn wanting to shoot it or wanting to save it.

does that use the same bayonet as a garand?
I don't really like the idea of chinese fakes, but still might buy one of those

I believe the Norinco trenchgun got a favorable review in Guntests. But then again I might have been on a crack binge at the time, who knows.

Hey Zombie,
What kind of stock is that on the 500? Is it as ergonomic as it apears to be?

Unless I'm mistaken the M97 trenchgun (both the real deal Winchester & the ChiCom knockoff) use the M1917 Enfield (US Enfield) bayonet.

I think RiffRandal is correct, Enfield style bayonet.

www.southernohiogun.com/products.html

scroll down a little. sez: "Original Remington 17" blade bayonets (not copies), in
very good condition with scabbards! Also fits Enfield P14/17"

No. It uses the M1917 bayonet.

The bayo will run you $60 - $100.

That is the Choate Mark 5. I'm pretty happy with it. I bought the 590 used and that stock was on it but it came with the factory stock as well so I swapped out the horrible folder I had on my 500 for the Choate. My only complaints are that on the 500 it's difficult to reach the controls (the safety mostly). It's got removable spacers to adjust length of pull, the recoil pad works very well, and the pistol grip actually fits my hand.

Confusion,

Is that an M-7 bayo? And is it an optical illusion, or does the bayo actually have an upward tilt to it?
Islam is a religion in which God requires you to send your son to die for him. Christianity is a faith in which God sent his Son to die for you.

Yes I believe it is an M7 with a saw edge and no it is no optical illusion ... it actually does tilt upward a few degrees. I like the tilted look.
