Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - FNX RMR mounting question.

Just got my RMR06 for my new FNX 45 tac. Is anyone using the sealing plate when mounting the RMR? I bought one of the glock seal/screw kits earlier and I can't seem to find if the sealing plate serves any purpose other than water sealing the sight more, does it help with battery contact?

I took my RMR off my Glock 19 Atom slide and mounted it on the FNX 45 without the seal kit....

no issues yet.

You don't really need it on the FNX since the mounting plate seals it just fine.
