Hello FN Forum (I don't think I've posted here before).

Anyway, my neighbor is picking up a Five-seveN shortly and he asked me to suggest a holster for him. I don't own a Five-seveN so I was hoping to get some recommendations from people here in the forum.

He is an IWB kinda' guy, but if you could give suggestions for IWB and OWB Kydex and leather holsters that would be great.

Also, mag carriers would be helpful too.

TIA.

-Joe

There CAN be problems on a company producing a holster for the 5.7 UNLESS they fully understand the pistol.

If a company just purchases a "mold gun" and starts cranking out holsters you might have an issue with it knocking off the safety when drawing the pistol.

They need to create a small channel in the holster for the safety to ride in.

I have no idea how good Bravo Concealment is going to be until it arrives. It was one of the very few that actually offered a holster for the MKII.

I'm trying to mod a Blackhawk Serpa FN 5.7 USG to work with the MKII. I'm a huge fan of the Serpa (I used a Serpa Level III on duty for several years)

The bold part, 100% true.

That is why, as an FN pistol junkie, I make a lot of holsters for the FsN.

Every holster I ship is tested with an actual gun to ensure that the safety lever is not manipulated when drawing or holstering.

The Bravo Concealment holster has a channel for the safety.

It's CORRECTLY molded so the safety isn't affected by the holster.

Nice!

Thanks for the offer but the holster is for my neighbor. I've e-mailed him several suggestions from this thread already.

He's a busy guy and travels a lot and I haven't heard back from him.

BTW: I would edit your post so you don't get a warning for posting a For Sale post.
