THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I'm going to get a .22 can, and if the FN comes all ready to go, I might break down and buy one. Thanks, |

Thanks, mine is not I do not know if you can get one that comes threaded or not. also I was told that my 22 can can not go on the 5.7 but my 5.7 can can go on 22 because of pressures. I do not have a 5.7 pistol can I have one for an ar57 which has the normal ar thread I guess the threaded barrels for a pistol have a difrent thread from what I was told. if this is wrong I am interested to know as well. |

Some of the newer .22 cans are rated for the 5.7mm, such as the Silenco Sparrow. I'm going to pick up one for my GSG .22, and if it would be easy to put it on the FN I might get a 5.7mm.

Yes, but not in a way that will take a can. To use a can on a 5-7 pistol you'll need a purpose built barrel that is longer and has threads for a can.
FN makes (or used too), but has never offered to the public as far as I know. Jarvis (?) used to make them, maybe still does last I check if was like a 6-9 month wait time... Fire Dragon makes them, check a few days ago, min, 3 month wait. Both range about $400... The way the 5-7 barrel is made / mounted to the frame makes this an expensive barrel to make. |

does anyone know if there is a thread converter that goes from a 10x1mm right hand thread to a 1/2-28 threaded supressor.
that is the thread of a 5.7 threaded berrel to a 5.7 ar suppressor. |

I had mine threaded by Tornado Technologies: http://www.tornado-technologies.com/services.html
They take your existing barrel, thread it, then place an adapter/extension. Much cheaper than buying a whole new barrel ($175 as listed). Mine in particular is M1x10 and I have an adapter for my SWR Spectre. They also have thread adapters if you are using a 1/2x28 thread pitch suppressor ($40). Note that you'll need to remove the thread adapter to remove the barrel from the slide. |

Another +1 for Tornado Technologies. You'll need a 10x1 to 1/2-28 thread adapter for the can as well. Unfortunately they can't thread the FiveSeven barrel for 1/2x28.
