Probably won't find one, because it's not a slide release, it's a simple slide stop, and should be used as such.. |

From Section 15.2.3, page 29 of the FNP-45 Tactical Manual: "Release the slide by pulling rearward on the slide to disengage the slide stop. This will allow the slide to move forward and chamber a cartridge. You can also press down on the slide stop to allow the slide to move forward and chamber a cartridge. Note that when the slide closes that the hammer is in the cocked position and the pistol is ready to fire in single-action mode. You may now continue firing." And no, there aren't any extended stops. |

And no, there aren't any extended stops. :) They still do call it a slide stop, and IMO when thinking about the whole slide stop vs slide release debate, its' construction more mimics that of a slide stop. It's fairly filmsy, and using it as a slide release for us southpaws is a real PITA as it's very hard if not impossible to push down. |

It's not a slide release no matter what hand is dominant. Overhand slingshot is truly ambidextrous and the method to use with this gun. |

The Slide stop is only on the left side of the run. The right slide stop functions off the the left side, and does so very poorly. |
