We're looking to get a prototype in here to test soon. No other information is available at this time.

We still haven't received the prototype in here yet. No one knows exactly when this will come to fruition.

Will be interesting to see the design.
Tanfoglio makes a 45 - and I believe they do not use a "barrel bushing." They also do the frame & slide casting for the IMI/IWI "baby" eagle in 45. Similar design. Armalite/Turkey seems to follow that pattern usually. CZ, OTOH, makes a 75 in .45 ACP they call the "97" - and it uses a bushing. Time will tell. |

I'd personally hope for something other than a Turkish made 75 in the future. No interest on my end.
Looks like Zastava is looking for a new home for their 99 series pistols. That I will and have bought(EZ series).Great pistols. http://www.zastava-arms.rs/cms/index.php?id=324 |

I saw a picture of the sarsilmaz .45. Good looking pistol. According to an article in Soldier of Fortune magazine, ArmaLIte won`t be importing it.

I have the .45 ACP SAR K2, and it's like an AR24 on steroids. This will have to do as the fill in. I believe they're built in the same factory in Turkey under Sarsilmaz. Near identical quality, looks, accuracy, etc.. Just a different caliber.. Nice to have both Turkish guns AR24 in 9mm and SAR K2 in .45 ACP. |

Can you compare it to the large frame EAA Witness pattern to see if it's compatible? I FF'ed a K2 in the Sarsilmaz showroom in Turkey, they're pretty sweet if you're into that caliber. And now I see Canik55's, Sarsilmaz, and this other Turkish gun company Buds - I like it. Just no Hi-Power knock-offs like they have there. |
