Very nice! Being a Lefty, I have paid close attention to ambi safeties. Yours seems more than a bit like the King, with the captured pin to hold the second wing in place. I've always liked that approach better than just having the other side hang.

No they aren't, the right side with the pin in the closed key hole goes in first, then the screw into the end of the pin on the left, and then the left side goes in.

I always preferred this style of attachment and have used Kings and Mueschke because of the design. What took you so long, did you have to wait for a patent to expire?

I would also suggest making one with a standard/stock profile. Many 1911 users that carry daily don't like those large levers digging into their body.

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much room!

Will this fit my Springfield Loaded? I was on your site, considering these, but I didn't have time to read. I also like the bullet proof grip-safety, how much do these weigh? TIA

To Wilson Combat

Please get off your tails and make more of the 192BBP's...

Midway keeps pushing the back order date out each time the date comes around...

Now I'm looking at January, come on, I can't use my gun till you make it and send it to Midway...

I called your customer service and got a BS story that you guys are busy, come on,
if you guys are that busy work more hours or hire more help, I need my ambi safety!!!

Thanks

David.

Edit: Isn't the one you are showing in the photo the 192SBP???

David,
We are making them as fast as we can, and can't keep up with demand. Seems when you make the BEST ambi safety on the market, more people order ambi than ever before! That, combined with the fact that this part takes a HUGE amount of machine time to produce, has us behind the eight ball in production!

Yup, that is a #192SBP pictured....and here is a link to it on the website....

Stainless BP Ambi

Blued BP Ambi

All machined from BAR STOCK.....no CASTINGS!

Thanks for getting them made...

I ended up ordering two from Midway and one from Brownells...

I ordered two black and one SS...

I was going to use one black and one ss, but I changed my mind, I'm going to use the two black ones...

I'll load some photo's on here when I get them done...

Thanks Again...
