Looks like they pulled all the lites from the Ruger site.
New ones incoming? Or did they shelf them completely?

Looks like they pulled all of the 22/45's from the site. No way they are shelving the pistol completely.

I think they are going to update the 22/45 series with the button takedown like the new Mark iv.

The Ruger Site lists MkIII 22/45 Lite and all other MKIII as 'Out of Production" All production dates for models being made this year stop in 2016.

Instruction Manuals & Product History

Expect the MKIV 22/45 to be released shortly.  The MKIV hammer/trigger spring setup is quite different from the MKII/MKIII etc.

Makes sense.  Ruger tends to churn the product mix more than most manufacturers, for better or worse.

Not really. The Mark IV represents an evolutionary, rather than revolutionary, change. Most things in it are backwards compatible.  I just installed a Mark II hammer and sear in my Mark IV in order to get rid of the magazine disconnector. I'm sure Tandemkross will soon be releasing a special bushing to allow you to use the stock Mark IV hammer, without the magazine disconnector.

That's been my assumption as well.  I'll be buying one ASAP (and might actually clean it...as opposed to the current versions)

Have to admit, I kind of want a Mk IV.  I've had a Mark II for over 20 years, and it still occasionally is a little bastard to get apart/together.  I picked up a Mk III 22/45 Lite last year to be a suppressor host, and the first time I took it apart, I could not for the life of me get it back together!  Turns out it was the silly magazine disconnect causing my woes.  (That will be replaced soon)

So, yeah, I kind of want a Mk IV.  I have a bad feeling if I got one though, I'd HAVE to track down a Mark I so my collection would then be complete.  Well, at least I'd have one of each Mark.

Hmmmmm...

I can't decide which I'd rather have: a Target Mk4 or a 22/45 Mk4.

I'm definitely getting the stainless target and possibly the 22/45 lite.  These new Mark IVs, in my opinion, are very impressive.  It's the best thing Ruger has put out since the 10/22!  I'm a rimfire junkie though.

I wonder when they plan to roll the new ones out? Im hoping they will have one black instead of only anodized colors

I was hoping they would be out in time for the holidays. I guess I can't be too impatient as I want one for a suppressor host that will probably be another 8 to 9 months away.

This.

I currently have an all black lite they discontinued a while back.
I'm only interested in another all black.

If they would make a 22/45 lite with a metal grip housing i'd buy one.  I can't stand the fact it's plastic.

Just picked up a MK III 22/45 Lite that my LGS had marked down to $320 out the door. They had several different colors in stock. I'm guessing they marked them down because they won't be making them anymore. Not a big fan of the MK III but I couldn't pass up that price.

It wouldn't bother me if they did shelve them. Out of the box, my 22/45 lite was the worst running pistol I've ever owned. I'll never buy another.

That's odd. Mine has been nothing short of fantastic, it's been suppressed it's entire life and runs great.

I will be interested in seeing what colors they other in the mk4, mine is all black and I've been debating on cerakoting it.
