Been looking at picking up another 22 I can turn into a host. Was going to pick up a Lite but don't really want another mag. Found someone selling a MKII 22/45 for 275. It isn't light but I could use my current mags

I have one already, and would have another at that price!

Any mage offered?

Barrel type?

Seems like a decent price.

Bought one in ~2005 and have put untold thousands of rounds through it, really fun pistol.

2 mags and the super short heavy barrel. I was too slow and missed it

One on the EE for that price for a while now. Not my listing.

This one?

It's a Mark III not II. Will probably end up with one eventually anyway but for now want to keep the same mags. Should have bought a pile of the things when they were blowing them out at 175 back when the Mark III came out.

Yep. Without looking it up, I thought the mags were the same...

That's because you assumed Ruger is reasonable

They are not

I've never had a problem running any MK III series mags in my 22/45 Lite, or MK II series magazines after I removed the magazine safety disconnect.

My MK 3 22/45 Lite works fine with MK 2 mags and I still have the Mag disconnect in place.

Matter of fact I stole all the mags from my MK 2's because they are easier to load and are way more reliable than the Mk 3 mags in my gun.

Yes they are totally interchangeable in my experience.
