so had the suppressed Ruger 22/45 for the big holiday weekend and I guess I left the red dot sight on.

NO SIGHTS for the long weekend up north

besides a fiberoptic $$$$ RMR
any options for a rail/iron sights? Any cheap fiberoptic battery free sights?

Volquartsen makes some adjustable iron sights.  You might also check out LPA sights...  Or maybe even Kensight.

Now that I reread your post I dont know of any Ruger setups with a rail that has built in iron sights...

Get some spare batteries and a couple of tools to get in your range bag or 22/45 case.

I have a bunch of TK stuff on my 22/45 Lite and have been eyeballing the Williams FO sights but, I haven't tried these yet.  No affiliation with either company but, here's a link
