I traded into this one a couple of years ago. I don't remember exactly how much I have in it but certainly no more than $50. I think that you probably paid top dollar for your FIE and as for "springing" for a Heritage... from the few that I have handled, probably about the same quality as what you bought.
Don't get me wrong, I've rarely met a gun I didn't like (including this one), they are nothing more than plinkers and as such just are not worth much. In my opinion, you are no better or worse off with your FIE than with a Heritage.
