In the winter months I like to walk the trails in the woods where I live and carry either a MKII or Single six. What's your favorite woods gun?

S&W kit gun, 4" SS, lots more accurate than the single six for me even after trying a wolf spring kit in it to lighten up the trigger. I sold the single six for lack of accuracy. My buddies single six was much better than the one I had. I'm thinking an old mark I or II ruger with a slim barrel would be nice too. A la a modern hi standard sportking or a Colt woodsman.

Neither one of these do it for me. Too hard to hit with. Lots of fun at the range and great for packing on the hip.

The ten inch model If I am using iron sights, otherwise the slabside.

AR7, it is light and plays hell on squirrels.
