so while shooting the other day I noticed my rear sight had moved over to the right to the point it almost came out of the grove.

Is this normal? How do I tighten it up?

Believe only half of what you see, and nothing that you hear.

If a bigger hammer wont fix it, then it must be an electrical problem.

If it's an adjustable type sight there is a set screw on top. Use some removable loctite on it.
