THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I picked up this Colt .22 Conversion back in the 80's which I used extensively and plan on shooting again. It was 100% reliable and plenty accurate.

Based on the pics, can I get some info when it was made? I know roughly between the 50's and mid 60's. Being is it's been long discontinued I'm also wondering what it's worth?
TIA

I bought a Colt conversion unit in about 1979 and the only difference I can see is the front sight on yours differs from mine. The sight on mine was a partridge sight like those used on a series 70 Colt Gold Cup National match. Unfortunately I had to sell my conversion unit and dedicated frame. My unit was very reliable and accurate.

Good catch on the front sight as mine's been altered. I wanted to replicate the exact front sight I was using on my Series 70 at te time so the two sight pictures were the same so I swapped the partridge sight for a ramped, which ruined it as a 100% collector. But back in the eighties I was using it as a serious practice gun for IPSC and quick draw and had no intention of selling it. Still don't.
