Funny you should mention... yeah! I just took some new pics of a new Colt Commander, Colt Lightweight Commander with a new set of Coco Bolo Colt logo grips the owner liked better than the Rosewood, a Nighthawk Dominator, Kimber Warriror with some VZ's, and a Spingfield MC Operator...
BUT!!!! my camera, which has been dying for a year, finally ate it today! I'll have to get a new one to DL everything. Sit tight! Also just ordered a Nighthawk Heinie Carry model and a Wilson Classic two tone. Another T3 should be in soon and I ought to take a couple pics of a green/blk Springfield Champion SGB worked on for one of our guys. Came out nice and has a good selection of Nighthawk, Wilson and Ed Brown parts added to it! |

Been busy, sorry for being slow to get some of these new ones up.
We got in a new model Colt. I wish I could get the number for you, but it was some new edition WWI replica. No idea if this is actually true, but I was told these guns were not supposed to have been released until after Shot Show. So maybe we got one in early? It was pretty cool, it came and left before I could get a pic though. Sorry  Here's a new Stainless Wilson Professional with double diamond Diamondwood grips. Looks very clean and smooth. I love the grips on the Stainless gun: Colts have been moving well for the Holidays. In addition to the WWI replica gun I mentioned above, here's some new ones that have come and gone. I never really got excited over this one, but its the Special Combat Govt in all nickle, sold the day it arrived! Colt's Commander guns continue to be our overall best selling 1911. Standard Commander in blue XSE Commander XSE Lightweight Commander Stainless Springfield Commander Picked up another MC Operator. Always a popular model that moves pretty quick. One of the new Kimber SIS guns. Govet model, no rail. Put a pair of Ken Ahrends half texture grips on a guys Standard Kimber: Sold the Professional model pictured earlier to an ARFcom member. He picked up a pair of VZ Operators too! Looks great. He had a smile from ear to ear after shooting it the first time. Said he had never shot so well in his life. Good deal!  Sold another Nighthawk Dominator to a guy, he wanted one without the magwell. |

Lots of new Kimbers in, and a new Nighthawk GRP Recon. Also ordered another Wilson Pro just like the last one pictured, but with an ambi and bobtail. I'll see if I can get pics up tomorrow.

Few new guns in, I have pics of the first Heine, and we just got a second. Picked up a used CDP Pro, another 10-8 is in the shop. Sold a AAC Evo.45 and a pair of Carbon Fiber grips to a guy with a Stainless Kimber... looks pretty sick! I've got pics of them all, just go to host and post them! |

Kimber Stainless II with AAC Evo .45 can and Carbon Fiber grips   Nighthawk 10-8   Here's the first Heine we got that sold so quick (thanks Mike!)    Here's the second, Mike noticed that this one did not have double diamond grips  Thats it for now... just put an order in for another Talon IV with complete diamond black finish. I dont know when it will be here, but it should be sweet! |

Yeah, there's a lot about the gun I really like. The frame being cut down and having the mag well added so as not to increase the length of the frame is cool. The blended barrel/bushing/plug is sweet. I like the smooth unmarked slide, i like how the grips are cut to go over the magwell, etc, etc etc... lots of nice touches on the gun.

They make a good variety of guns. Brand new you can probably pick one of their entry level guns like a GRP about $2k, all they way up to high mid $3k for the Heine or nearly $4k or more for something custom.

It needs a lip on it so you can pull it out if it gets stuck. Wilson mags are good for that, Novaks suck.

I guess I could, but that would be a boat load of work to swap all the pics. The bandwidth being exceeded usually only lasts a short time. I think they are all back up now. Got some new guns in recently. Nothing MAJOR, but nice guns in any case. Theres a Sig Commander, another Kimber Aegis, I just picked up a used TLE/RL for myself, a Springfield Milspec GI and I think theres another Springfield Stainless Champion on its way. Hired a new guy whose got a Warrior, so I should get that one in here too.

Very nice looking guns! I just turned 21 and have been looking into 1911's and this thread is great. I can't afford 2k+ for a handgun right now but the Kimbers around 1k I can. I see you guys sell a few kimbers. Have you had any time to play around with the kimber CDP II at all? I'm thinking about getting one. I'm a newbie when it comes to handguns and 1911's in particular.

We almost always have a CDP Pro in stock, it is one of our standard models. With its aluminum frame, I typically only suggest it when someone is looking for a concealed carry gun. The heavier steel frame guns have smoother recoil and will be easier to shoot. But if you were thinking of carrying it, the lighter weight of the CDP will be a benefit.
I've had quite a few new guns come in but I've been sick with the flu since SHOT and have yet to take photos of anything. I've already missed taking pics of a new T3 that come and left and a TLE Pro thats gone.But there's still more Colt's, Kimbers, Springfields S&Ws, and a new Wilson to take pics of. |
