Does she shoot much yet? Make sure she's trained and can carry a 380 for protection!.

Suberb...and a good photo too.

Here's a prototype photo I ran across a couple of years ago....essentially just a Rail Gun with the future A1 finish on it....still has the small Weaver rail.

i have considered something along those lines. 9mm in a 1911 seems like a great idea. I know I should know this but whats' the capacity in one of those?

Most of these are old pictures.  I need to take some better ones.

Springfield TRP Operator with Storm Lake threaded barrel and custom Ahrends Cocobolo Tactical grips.  Silencerco Octane 45HD on the end.

Colt New Agent 9mm with real Ivory grips.

Colt Wiley Clapp Commander with Sambar Stag grips in a full DB Bullard Tigershark rig.

Colt Series 70 (bone stock except for grips) and an Enhanced Officers Model in Bright Stainless with Buffalo Horn Grips (picture does not do it justice)

1917 Colt on top and a 1944 Remington Rand on the bottom.  Rand has only had the springs replaced and was a bring back.

Colt Gold Cup Officers Match set.  One of 350.  I replaced the factory grips with Buffalo Horn.

Colt Wiley Clapp on top, CCO in the middle, and Night Defender on the bottom.

Colt 1991A1 that spent some time at the Colt Custom Shop.  Also has some Sambar Stag grips.  Leather is all from DB Bullard.

Top is a Colt 9mm Commander in Satin Nickel.  Mustang 380 on the bottom.

compuvette.......what is your opinion on quietness, on the TRP and the Octane.......I have an Octane 45 HD on a G21 and it's not quiet at all.....I realize there is no such thing as Hollywood quiet....I've about decided that a .45 is just to big to suppress .....cuts too big of a hole in the air I guess....even tho naturally sub sonic

How does it compare to your M45 from initial impressions?

^^
I do really like those, can't understand why they don't do the front strap on the all black version though. If they'd just make that without the front  cuts it'd be a perfect gun

Not the best photo ever but I just traded for this MC Operator last night. It's my first 1911 with a rail.

The trigger on the Long Beach Operator is better than my $1800 M45A1.

But that's probably because the M45A1 is Series 80, unlike the Springfield.

Does your Operator still have the ILS? If so, swap out the MSH guts with standard parts and use a 20lb. mainspring and it will clean up the trigger even more.
