Nice! Can you tell us what all you had the custom shop do to the Range Officer?

Certainly, if I can remember it all

1. 25 LPI High cut checkering

2. Colt Style Trigger guard undercut

3. 25 LPI non-ILS MSH

4. 4lb Trigger job

5. FO Front sight

6. Std carry Bevel

7. Debur rear of thumb safety (round off the sharp edge)

8. Debur and Round original rear target sight (although I sent it back for the fixed rear)

9. Heine EZ Lock rear fixed sight

10. Finish in Satin Black Armory Kote

11. Sight for POA/POI

Although the Heine sight is big and ugly it works good and the RO shoots very good in my hands.

Just finished with my American Classic 1911.

American Classic Commander 1911, action, trigger, all completed by me. NiB-X slide and barrel with Nitromat frame done by WMD Guns in Florida. Custom grips done by Hakan Pek from Norway.

Here's a 1911A1 Series 80
Auto Ordnance 1911PKZSEW
WWII Style pistol

This will be my classroom gun for the 1911 platform. (Though this one really looks too clean to be regularly handled by handgun novices.)

Cool box of ammo I found, wish I owned a mil spec or A1 model. Would have been more fitting.

Thank you. I'd like to try hollow points through my Sistema. I've only run Winchester white box ball through it so  far.

Chip McCormick powermag

Edit: I haven't got to shoot that particular magazine yet so I can't comment on the reliability but I've heard mostly good reviews, a few bad.

That's what happens when you leave it in the dryer with a pocketful of ammo.

Thats the problem when you buy tiny pistols like a 1911 loaded. You leave it in your pocket with your ipod and before you know it they're all scuffed up
