One of the only pictures I have of my Springfield GI.  Unfortunately, it's long gone now.

My newest (new to me) addition. It looks like the Long Beach Operator, but it's actually an MC Operator with some work by the custom shop; all black armory kote, trigger work, front strap checkering, and magwell.

Well, at least he has some balance with the Glock and revolvers in there.  LOL.  Nice collection!

No reason for the SR1911 to be on the side there.  It was just where it was.  And a few oddballs in the pic to break it up.

But I DO think the Ruger is a HELL OF A NICE 1911 for the money.

But my allegiance is with Colt.

Old-School CCW goodness, courtesy of a very good friend. A Mark I Detonics Combat Master that lived in an IWB holster for the last sixteen years until today. Unfortunately an old injury and hereditary arthritis have made it impossible for him to draw the slide back fully, so it's now mine. He offered to reblue it and I may take him up on that offer, but for now I'm not doing anything other than shooting and cleaning it.

I like the blueing how it is and would not let him redo the finish. Gives it that "I'm reliable and have been there done that"

It's damn reliable, and accurate, too. It will feed empty cases by hand, as well as the weirdest bullets he could find over the last decade and a half. We were busting a gallon jug full of dirt at 25 yards with it on the day I took possession of it. If he ever wants it back he doesn't have to look far.

Started off as an MC operator. It's had the satin black AK, one peice magwell, sights, trigger work, and front strap stippling. ETA, everything but new sights and AK was done by previous owner. It was all black when I got it but the AK was showing holster wear as it was a duty weapon and I wanted to get it refinished.

And engraved TACTICAL on the side.  Did you spec that?

[Last Edit: AGENT-X] [#42]
No, I was not the first owner of this weapon. It was previously purchased and spec'd by a police agency in my area. They are the ones who ordered them with the magwell, trigger work, and stippling done. I'm starting to think maybe Springfield just used TRP frames. I only think this because the slide is not marked TRP and Springfield told me these started as MC Oprators based on the serial number. They said a group of them were ordered and modified per the agencies request.
