I have some of those mags. With my sig 1911 they don't lock the slide back after the last round a lot. I contacted Mec-gar and the customer service sent me two prototype mags to try. These mags have the same body but have a different spring with a plastic follower. These worked great. I don't know if the newer mags are being imported yet. So I would pass on the ones with the metal follower. If you want inexpensive 10 rounders try metalform or the brownell brand mags which I think are metalform too. Both work very well and they run around $25.

I have two I tried.
The followers needed to slide up higher.
There were burrs on the sides of the follower.
After a bit of carefull surgery, they worked great.  
I don't shoot my springer 9mm as much now that I have CZs.
But I may get a couple of the new mec-gars just because.
