Anyone have a recommendation for this? I kinda got stuck on what type of link should be on there, standard vs Para vs Nowlin, etc. Trying to find a vendor for that.

Anyone have this pistol threaded, or any 10mm threaded for that matter? How well does yours shoot suppressed? Would like to be able to shoot any ammo suppressed through it. Any recommendations for other upgrades such as recoil springs?

I'm confused as hell after reading your post...........

Are you asking where a 10mm 1911 bbl can be had? What do you mean by a "link"?

Barrel lug links, you know, that you put the takedown pin/slide stop through? I found a website that sells threaded barrels, and apparently Wilson/Nowlin makes their barrel with one type of link, and Para has another type of link, and then there is the "Standard" link that most other makers use. Sorry, I guess I should have called them barrel lugs, but the website called them links. I'll try to find that site.

all 3 use the same link, what is different is the way the frame is machined out

just get the barrel that looks like the one you have now.

edit iirc STI is a Wilson cut.

Suppressing a 10mm is rather pointless IMO.  Most of the barrels you'll find will be threaded for compensators at 40 tpi since most STI owners are more concerned with shooting flatter and faster as opposed to a bit quieter.

The links are universal 1911 links but the lower lug and ramp style is proprietary for Wilson/Nowlin and Clark/Para.  STIs currently use Wilson/Nowlin ramps.

I suppress both my G20 and G29, no issues with either. And not necessarily pointless, as you are quietening the pistol, which is the whole point.

Check with Bar Sto Precision, they make threaded barrels for 1911's and with the proper ramp cut for the make of your pistol. Great folks to do business with.

Info on threading. It looks like you already have suppressors for other pistols, let them know what the thread pitch is and they can probably make it for you.
