Nice run but real men shoot SS major.  Just saying

not my best run by far but not to bad for the first match in 5 months.

Also how many SS shooters do your get.  Most of my home matches I win by default.

How many mags do you SS guys run on your belt? Last time I shot USPSA I was shooting Limited and am looking to dip my toe back into SS

When I shoot SS I put 5 on my belt.  I've never used the 5th mag, but I'm sure if I shot some bigger matches I'd end up needing it.  I like to have an extra in case I drop one anyway.

Nice job op!

As to the mag question. I'll typically run 8 mags. I use a plain USGI to load a round at the make ready command. I dump that and the put in a fully loaded Wilson ETM. The rest of the mags on my belt are ETMs. I have gone through all 8 in a stage before. Mainly some of the longer stages. But also because I don't like standing reloads. I've dumped mags after 2 or 4 rounds just because I'm moving and the next portion of the course of fire will cause me to do a standing reload if I don't reload while moving.

Nice shooting, but why 3 for each target on that stage?  Mozan drill or just part of the stage rules?

In a positive or negative way? As per the USPSA rule book stages are meant to be designed to be division neutral. Which means they have to account for revolver/single stack shooters in the stage design.

Positive

Waiting to see if a fairly big promotion at work goes through, if it does a 1911 is going to be a little present to myself
