Been looking at the RIA in 9mm (I know, I know, but I'm setup to reload 9mm already) locally for a little over $600. However, the Kimber was recently offered to me from a friend for $1000 OTD. Which should I choose? Sadly both is not an option at this time.

That Kimber was on PSA a few months ago for $600, other sites show it around $700. Granted, they're out of stock. I'd think $1000 is a bit much.

I'll take a Kimber over an RIA but as stated, $1000 is too much.

No Kimber is worth $1000 new, let alone used.

Spent a lot of money on a Kimber to get it to run right, then the barrel started rusting.  Got another Kimber thinking I had a lemon and had issues with the second.  A grand for a used Kimber 9mm is close to or over retail depending on the model.  Every RIA I have owned ran fine but the extractors were a little tight.  My current 9mm tactical runs like a champ.  David
