Don't know much about bull barrels so I figured I'd ask here

Seems like the guide rod isn't properly seated in the frame. Just pull off the top end and reassemble.

aft end of the guide rod may have to adjusted to fit the frame so it fits where it needs to.

Is it a two piece guide rod? If so, it has started to unscrew.

Do you have the option to replace the full length guide rod with an original partial length guide rod setup? The parts really aren't that expensive, and it would be a guaranteed solution to your problem.

Its a bull barrel so he would have to go with a reverse plug, I have no idea what recess cut the slide has and if any one makes a partial length spring plug.
