[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Picked up my first today...

Went to one of my favorite LGS's I like and trust.He sell's quite a bit of SIG's and has had great luck with them.Out of many,the Tacops really stood out to me.Hope to hit the range this week coming up sometime.Now I really need to do some learning about these guns and how to maintain them.Build quality is nice happy so far

I like mine (I have the non-rail version).

Double check and make sure your year sight is tightened down. On my first range visit with mine I shot about 150 rounds and I was putting it away I noticed that the rear sight had become very loose. I was shooting in a grassy area so if it had come off I would have been screwed.

Just had it out again last wknd. Definitely like the factory grips.

Holy cow she looks nice! As much as I like my Scorpion, I definitely prefer the traditional 1911 slide profile. Hopefully she'll shoot as well as she looks!

Just got done with a clean/lube job.Had some Weapon Shield CLP and grease on hand,used a small amount of grease on the rails and the oil everywhere else.Seems like half the people like grease,the other oil...I'll try this,she sure feels slick

.Cannot wait to try her out!!!

Just got back from the range,all smiles

.Didn't have a lot of time,but put 100 rounds of American Eagle 230 grain through it.ZERO malfunctions and VERY accurate, more so than me! Can't wait to get more time with it...

Love everything about this gun so far.Great trigger, smooth working safety...Anybody recommend a hollow point to try?
