Oh dear...

I'm looking for a 9mm, may have to be patient to see what they're going to offer.

I've never had much problem picking any particular gun, I own around thirty, but in today's market flooded with excellent full size 1911's, picking one is enough to cause a permanent mental flinch.

Yeah, supplying the US Gov't, a bunch of federal LE agencies including mine and something like 70 governments around the world is probably going to cause them to go under.

I saw this last week. I will be buying the 9mm version without a doubt. I might spring for the GCNM at some point also.

Have you shot one?  There may not be a more pleasant handgun to shoot than a nice 9mm 1911.

Same here.  I fondled one of the new Kimber hot rods today.  A Kimber fan, I am not, but this was nice.

Standing by to see the Colts!

Cheaper to shoot,  slightly more capacity, even less recoil.
I had a. 38super  that I regret selling,  I loved everything about it but the cost of ammo back then.  It was twice the price of. 45.

Cost of ammo, 9mm equals more training. I've always said a 9mm 1911 is like a Corvette with a 4-cylinder engine. That said, I would love to own a 9mm Commander.

Sorry if I missed it, but any eta on when the 9mm 1911 will be available? That is definitely on the to buy list.

Thanks

I'd bust out the credit card for a full sized 9mm rail gun.  Soft shooting and feeding it would be a lot easier on the wallet

If they include a double-stack full size 9mm in that group, then they've got a sale to me!  Looking to replace my jam-o-matic Stoeger Cougar with a 1911 for our local events.

Damn, I just put a Springfield RO in 9mm on layaway. Waiting for a 9mm RO compact, and now I might be in the market for a Colt next year, which is fine cause I love me Colt 1911's.

Hell yeah!  I'm all in for a brand new Colt 1911 9mm pistol.  I was looking at the Kimber Aegis Ultra but I just may wait a bit until the Colt comes out.  Awesome piece of kit!

OP
I'm with you , I purchased ( well traded for ) a Colt Rail Gun a title over a year ago. I love that .45.
Up unit recently I had been looking at possible Gold cup ( always wanted one ) , but something similar in 9mm that I could afford to shoot more often would be
