Never had the opportunity to shoot one, but played with a used Premier II at the LGS a few weeks ago. Was a very nice pistol.

The Premier is a very good value...mine is the UTC (ultimate tactical carry) it's the exact same gun as the thunder ranch minus the TR logo.....I bought it from 1911 heaven in Idaho...I wanted this one because it doesn't have the front cocking serrations but it does have the 1.5" 50yard option.

Nothing special. Finally Got to the range to try out my SACS mil spec. Here are a few pics of the mil spec and range officer. My grouping was beyond horrible today that is what I get for not eating breakfast.

First IDPA match with my new to me STI Trojan 9mm in ESP. Grabbed some stills from a video.

Coming into barricade and doing the great IDPA flat foot reload

Loaded and getting on target

First paper engaged slicing the pie and heading to steel. Two spent cases flying. The 9mm in a 1911 is a joy to shoot.

Back at Springer. Shoots 6" high at 10 yds and the trigger had a really long pull. I put about 300 rds thru it trouble free, I wanna like it. Thumb safety was like a cheese grater and opened me up at 50 rds. Not bad for 781 OTD.

Shooting steel is always fun. We have a match called Walls Of Steel up in RI where it's 6 stages of around 25+ pieces of steel per stage. Here's some video of the .40 Trojan shooting it last year. A few mag hiccups from slide lock as you might see but still fun.

Forgot to put this pic up but this is what Hornady .40 180grn HAP bullets at about 725fps look like after hitting the above steel. I thought they were pretty cool looking.
