THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Looking for some ideas for my GRP Recon. The grips that came with it are just a tad aggressive, I know I could wet sand them down a bit but am thinking I will just get a new set. Kinda like the grey color that is on it but my go with something else. Keep it grey, all black, one of those odd ball color schemes? Am looking to the hive for suggestions. Things I do know that I want. Ambi, exposed pin at the bottom and the mag release thumb notch. Have been to VZ, Wicked Grips, MilTac, and went to Monkey Grips but the site is under construction. Also went to Aluma Grips.

What Say Ye?

Monkey Grips will be under construction forever it seems, but don't let that stop you from dealing with Larry Davidson. All you need to do it email him.
Along with his standard grips, if you are looking for something a little different, he can do things VZ won't.

My first set is on the last page of this thread

I have a second set on order with him as we speak.

+1.

I love their grips. Ever since I got my DW Valor (comes with VZs) somehow VZs are popping up all over my other guns.

VZ for a "user", Wicked Grips for a BBQ gun or safe queen.

I usually go with VZ because I like to see what I'm getting and they have an online catalog that I can browse.

I've talked to Larry Davidson and he sounds like a great guy - but everything is made to order - and I just don't have the patience to wait for grips

Another vote for VZ. I like the G10's I have on my loaded. They are grippy, but it does rain a bit out here in the PNW.

I prefer VZ Grips but if you're on a budget, check out RAASCO.
