Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What springs to replace

I have a Bulgarian makarov that I want to tame a little. I enjoy shooting it with the factory springs but if i was able to tame the recoil a little I believe my wife would enjoy shooting it.

Having said that what spring or springs should I swap out?

springs not going to help that much as its a blowback design, not much you can do except get a 9mm .

I actually had good luck upping the recoil spring to the highest Wolff sells. Very noticeable difference.
