Just an FYI Classic Firearms got a batch of Bulgarian pistols that seem to be decently priced. They have a billboard style import mark on the right side of the slide (I believe century imported them). It does not look like they have original grips though.

Aim Surplus has some on the way as well I guess. If I wouldn't have just recently bought a PW arms marked Bulgarian I would probably get one of these.

I missed the vg/ex and just ordered one of the good ones will post pics when it arrives.

Just snagged one from AIM for $259, not to bad a price. The last one I purchased was $99 Russian import, but that was back in the early 90's. I could kick myself for not buying more of those.

Posted in the AIM forum, but here's a pic of Select grade. Added the grips of course. Looks literally unfired.

I would have ordered the select grade but missed it, got the hand pick option though. Should be here this week. If mine is half as nice that one I'll be happy.

The nice thing about Makarovs, they better with age or at least the trigger pull does. I was fortunate enough to have purchased an unissued Bulgarian 10 years ago and after 500 rounds, the trigger was smooth as silk.
