The M, and the heart shape with I, are inspectors marks.

The Hungarian symbol will have 2 numbers, these are the 'acceptance' year.   And the "1" is really a "7", so mine looks like '15', but is then really 75, meaning the acceptance year was 1975.
These pistols were made between 1963 and 1996.
