I hope the Makarov subforum is the right place to post about a Tokarev . . .

I just picked up on of these on my Type 03 FFL.

The side hold-open works great with a mag in but is weak with the mag out and won't hold the slide back. Interestingly it functions with the retaining clip removed. The retaining clip looks straight and I don't see any significant wear on the lever or the slide.
