More pics of the Luger and P-38. What is the date on the Luger 1936, 37 or 38?

This is all I have at the moment. I wish I took more, may be able to again in the future. Looking for what you can tell from what I have. Military? Civiilian production? Correct finish on parts, etc.

The Luger looks refinished, bluing was not that highly polished for the early Mausers. The P-38 looks good from what I can see. Not up on K98's though.

The K98k has an early stock, solid wood, low buttplate, front ring is stamped and welded, i.e. a late war version. Without more detailed photos of the receiver ring and certainty about importer's marks, the K98k cannot even be estimated.

I agree with P08 (always do) about the Luger and P.38. Need more pics on the Luger, dont have any clues on the K98. No real wear on the front of the side rails on the Luger, nor the top of the side plate, indicating a reblue. Cant tell about the strawing or lack of because the pics are poor. Cant even tell what year the Luger was made because no top of chamber picture. No Mauser hump in the rear of the frame indicating a possible early Mauser as does the S/42 toggle link.

Luger has been played with, notice the trigger and safety, both strawed, takedown lever appears blued, this is a NONO. On early Mauser guns 34 through 37 or so, trigger, safety, ejector, takedown lever were all strawed. Would need chamber date as said to make a final decision, P38 is good to go, K98K appears good, early rifles had all parts serial numbered including the stock, buttplate,
