THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I posted this in the WTB thread, but for some reason it was deleted, and after reading the rules, I'm not sure why, so i'll ask here (and if its wrong, can I get some advice as to where ot post it? Thank you) I am looking for a big favor and I am hoping someone out there can help me. To make a long a story short, my dad recently purchased a beautiful 1939 Luger with some money he inherited from his dad as a form of remembrance ( he was born in 1939, shooting was a passion for both of them, etc). For father’s day I am making a display for that luger out of a piece of high-end walnut my grandpa gave me a while ago (he said someday I’ll have a very good use it). I have the design ready to go, but what I want to find is a box of 9mm ammo from 1939 to display with it. I have looked on eBay and gunbroker, but they are either the wrong date or too expensive or both. Is there anyone out who could part with a box of this ammo to help me complete a very sentimental gift for my dad? Thank you much. |

Look in the collectible ammo section on Gun Broker, lots of it listed there.

That said though, I've never seen 8mm Nambu available anywhere, even at gun shows, so I honestly don't know how much it costs. I know my particular gun has been fired once since being brought home. Grandpa shot the rounds that were in it, cleaned and oiled the gun, and put it in a box with his other war stuff. |
