What are your experiences with Para elite commander and Para Officer?

I have a Canadian made Para LTC Commander, nice gun, but I had to replace both the ejector and extractor to get it to work reliably.  No other complaints on it.

While replacing internals is a bit of a pain, does not sound like a deal breaker.

I understand Para went out of business and that Remington bought the rights/company and is marketing their firearms under Remington brand.  Does Remington handle repairs on the Para brand?

last I read - internet - was that there is a 3rd party that Remington will tell you to send your gun
I also read that it has been tough for some to get in touch with Remington when asking about Para Ordnance.

Not real worried about repair work.
I am looking at used single stack models.
There are several 1911 gunsmiths available to work on a Para if needed
