Anyone have a line on Canadian mags for a 16-40? Or other good mags that will work with Dawson mag extension and still lock back the slide on empty?

Edit: update below with pics of the mags that came with the gun.

OOS at the moment
I use these in mine and they work without the modification listed
ACT-Mag

I also use these in 9 and .40 and have ordered from them
SPS

note - if this is for USPSA then you might have to change the basepad to a TTI
lso - will not back slide but can use grams or TTI followers/springs

Last are MBX
Most expensive but they work
2 kinds of followers-one locks back, one does not
MBX

If you find original Para Mags make sure they are the correct length.

I like the SPS. Anywhere to get them in the US? Have you ordered from this site? They will lock back with TTI followers?

The MBX are expensive. Probably the way to go if i get serious.

Can i get away with 2 140mm and my 2 16 round mags for USPSA?

These are the mags that came with the gun. I assume they are OEM. Any know?

The one with the green sticker will only hold 14. The other will hold 16.

Those look just like my factory mags, but I have never seen a 14 round one.   Have you taken it apart to see if there is something binding?   Nearly all of my P16 mags needed some burrs removed internally.

Someone is asking $45 each face to face for 3 16-40 OEM Canadian mags.

That sounds high.

edit: Bought them. They were still in the new packaging and are stamped made in Canada and work perfectly.

The SPS are about $80.  Mbx about $130.  Canadian mag with Dawson pad plus springs etc $80+.  But they are good quality and work well.
You can find the SPS at Galati International.

I paid $65 each for new P18 mags on Gunbroker, I felt lucky to find them.

The new Canadian mags with Dawson extensions and arredondo springs. They will get a workout Saturday at an IPSC match.

I used GRAMS base pad's with Grams spring's and follower. Had the mags hard chromed and polished. I also polished the inside of the tube with a 12 ga mop chucked in a drill and flitz. Held 20 and would lock in with the slide closed.
