I have had mine for about 7 years and I must have a good one as it has never misses a beat.
It is also the most accurate .45 that I own. If you do pick one up do remember that the magazine grip extensions make the gun more comfortable and controllable to shoot. Check the frame for hairline cracks and change the recoil spring. Other than having to change the springs more often, they're really no different than any other 1911.

Have about 350 rounds through mine. The Power extractor was problematic, have replaced it with the new HD extractor after first 100 rnds. Has been good since. As with any short barrel, trigger control is key to accracy. I think that PARA will refinish the older pistols with their new ion bond for you if you want to be without it for a while.
I really like mine and plan to carry it after I have 500 problem free rounds through, need to get to the range more. |

I saw one for eiither $550, or $525 today at a pawn shop, is that a fair deal?
