I am new to the 1911 world and have found that Para has without a doubt caught my eye. I am looking to eventually getting into competition shooting but right now I am still working on fundamentals and overall handgun skills. What would be the best model in 9mm to buy if I jsut wanted a "basic' pistol that I could slowly but surely upgrade into competition pistol?
