I really like these sights, and it shoots pretty well. Still need to make a holster for it with the light and chop the grip down to take G26 mags. G19 Gen 4, Truglo TFX-Pro sights, Olight PL-Mini. Just got this one Wednesday. XD .45 Tactical, with thumb safeties. Already got my SA Gear Up stuff to SA and got an e-mail back telling me it was approved. Just waiting now.

First target (5 rounds/my 225 grain coated lead reloads) at 12.5 yds. offhand. 225 grain Missouri Bullet Co. coated lead bullet on top of 6.0 grains of Unique with Win. LP to light it off.

How you live your life is important. Just be sure the memory of how you died doesn't overshadow the tales of how you lived your life.

I wasn't really sold on the modular concept, but after I started looking at them in the LGS I decided to give it a go. I've already got compact and x-carry grip shells inbound, and will probably order a full-size RX X-change kit soon. I still think it's ugly as sin, but it feels great in my hand.

I picked up this not-too-badly-abused 9mm lightweight Ruger for $475. A little surface rust on the hammer and a couple of small parts, and a couple of scratches on the slide, but overall in great shape mechanically.

I've got about 200 rounds through it with no issues and the accuracy is OK for a production 1911. I did have to reprofile the extractor hook and tighten it up a bit; the hook was making very little contact with the case and not enough tension was being exerted for my liking, but this was only after I got it home and went through it; it hadn't caused any ejection issues while shooting it.

It doesn't know it yet, but it has a Cerakote treatment in its future.
