NIB?! Nice!

Now you need a 4506 to go with it.

I kind of went on a buying spree, all three are running great:

When these went on sale for $369.95, I finally bit:

Then I shot one of these, and grabbed one up:

And then a friend got one of these for $199.95, and snatched one up too.

Of the three, the Taurus was the only one that hasn't been perfect, but I think my finger hit the slide on the 3rd shot, and it didn't eject the round
after that jam, it's run almost 200 rounds without any problems.

It wasn't all great though, my Tanfoglio Mossad full sized 9MM was pounding the slide stop, so I stopped shooting it and ordered a new spring.

Yeah, I didn't notice it either until I took the pictures.

I've noticed it before on a few other 1911's, but I don't think they were factory Colts.  More like custom jobbies.  It's pretty aggressive but I think it would be a good thing, for sure.  Lower the gun in your hand.  Very nice.

Ok, that is one NICE looking Valor.  That one I would buy.  I like the way the checkering on the main spring housing stops at the curve.

The clean line (and no freaking billboard) is really nice.

Haha,

the lower one is reserved to be my oldest son's graduation gift and I needed the upper one to shoot it and play around with. I got another 1969 rimfire revolver two weeks ago to compare three 1969 guns with different rollers. One had a timing issue that I fixed by changing the double action sear and fitting it.

Thanks,

I got over a dozen Korths and reccently sold off some of my WWII pistols and rifles that only cluttered up the safe and are not as much fun to shoot.
