I picked up on of those Walther P38 pistols made in the 1950s or early 60s, which recently came into the country and are for sale everywhere. The thing is a little rough looking but I took it to the range last weekend and it functions fine and seems to shoot pretty good. A friend of mine (who is also a member here) used it to knock down some metal plates and did really well with it from the first time he pulled the trigger.

Early production S&W Model 5903 in 9x19mm.
Attached File Squared off combat trigger guard and adjustable sights. That only stuck around for the first few years of production. Big Blue says it was made September 11, 1988. |

A new Sig M11A1 made in 2013. Apparently it sat in a storeroom at the LGS for the last 10 years.

I picked the top two off layaway today. They're a 3" Taurus 82 and a S&W Model 49. I've actually owned the bottom one (S&W Model 37) since January or February, but it was originally a 2". I just picked it today after having the barrel swapped for the 3". |

Very nice looking. I bought 3 of those several years back for 550 or so apiece. Had thoughts of sending 2 of them out for identical custom work but never sold myself on the idea. |

I just don't care for the extra 80 series parts, especially since I don't carry 1911's. |

This gun is not nearly as bad as what I was lead to believe by some Youtube videos. A Tara TM9 for only $185

Attached File S&W 696 (no dash) - a 3", round butt, L-frame chambered in .44 SPL with a 5-round cylinder. The grips appear to be Hogue Tulipwood. The serial number indicates it was built in 1997. The 696 was released in 96, with the 696-1 introduced in 1997, the -2 in 2001, and the line discontinued in 2002. |
