I bought a PSA Rock in pieces. Ordering it part at a time over several days may have saved me a few dollars, but it let me order the parts over several days in cash using my debit card, which is limited to $500 per day, which would have been a pain to order it all at once. (I would have to call the bank, temporarily raise the limit, then make nothing but that purchase)

ETA: And it works fine. I took it to the range last weekend.

So far as I know, you can't delete a post entirely.  You can delete you text and pics but can't leave it blank.  I have always deleted everything in the post and replaced it with three dots ( ... ).

Been lusting after one of these since they were released… whenever I had the money, you couldn’t find one. Whenever I could find one, I never had the money. Yesterday, for the first time ever, I had both at the same time.

Just have to get it to the range.

And figure out which can I want to get for it.

It took a month for the action tune and it showed-up unannounced today at my FFL.

I added the standard grips.

One of my favorites, I've lusted after one setup w/ a SiCo Osprey K for a long time. One day!

In the meantime, I got in on the recent SG firesale of S&W 5906's and happened to get one that was polished. Cleaned out 20 years worth of gunk, threw on some new grips, not bad for $350 all in

Something a little different, a Bulgarian Makarov.

Grips are a replacement, and add a beaver tail, and that black slider is a magazine release; they drop free now.

Definitely got some pep to it on the range.

Nice, how do you like those grips?
They're a great addition.  They allow for modern mag changes, and make the mak point more like modern Western pistols; previously it always pointed low for me due to the strange, more vertical grip preferred by the Russians.  Plus, a beaver tail to prevent slide bite.

Only downside is that I can see how they would be a major PITA to remove.

I highly recommend them.

@TW200

Is that a pocket holster for that 81?

I have an 84 and I saw Desantis makes a Nemesis for it. Thought I might get one just for fun but I don't know if I have any pockets big enough.

Better pic of my latest.
